“How will you ripple through the world, as a current of living vibration?”
Our experience of space originates from the experience of sound as vibration. Space is so vast and so subtle that we can’t really feel it, taste it, touch it or smell it. But we can get a sense of space as sounds travels on waves to us from person to person, from outside in– sounds gives dimension to distance in this way.
So the question becomes, how do you want to ripple through this world, as a current of living vibration?
Do you want to be erratic, inconsistent, tenuous?
Or are you interested in becoming a vibration of light, steadiness, kindness and clarity?
If we are going to aim for the latter, this requires some serious, honest-to-god listening. If we can be more skillful in listening to ourselves, hearing our own hearts and responding with integrity, then we will become even more adept at listening to one another.
When we become better at listening to one another, we create open lines of communication and we connect more easily, which makes something as vast and indifferent as space, suddenly vividly inhabited.
Instead of feeling isolated, we tune towards that frequency of deeper connection and we share space.
This is the world I want to live in.
